Ethereal Clouds is an Aqua, purple, grey, black and white colorway which represents the sample photo of the clouds. Please note every braid is unique!

Corriedale - The Corriedale fleece is approximately 25-30microns and staple length, 80-120mm. Our corriedale wools originate from New Zealand. Perfect for hand spinning, hand felting and many other craft uses.

Polwarth - A very old breed developed in Australia, quarter Lincoln and three quarter Merino. This breed is now found in Australia, New Zealand and Falkland Islands, with our Polwarth sourced from the Falkland Islands. This wool has good bulk, and is very soft and silky. The wool is 21-24 Micron and an average length of 80mm. Perfect for hand felting and hand spinning.

NSW Merino - The staple length is approximately 3-4”. Merino is versatile long staple fiber with excellent spinning and felting properties. It spins beautifully, and is soft enough to be worn close to the skin.

White BFL Silk - 70% White Blue Faced Leicester
30% Bleached Tussah Silk. We have blended the finest luxury fibers together to produce a unique soft silky handle. Perfect for hand felting, hand spinning and many other craft uses.

Rambouillet - This is a very old breed, originating in the village of Rambouillet, France in 1786. It is also know as French Merino. The wool averages 20-23 Microns, with a good crimp. It also has a good length around 60mm. This wool is brilliant for felting and spinning.

Merino/Bamboo - 70/30 NSW Merino/Bamboo
23 Micron Merino and Bamboo top come together to make a blend that creates a stunning visual effect. The Merino will take the dye, however the Bamboo remains white and will create a stunning effect to your end project.

Shaniko Tweed - 89% NSW US Shaniko Wool/6% Acrylic/5% Rayon, Shaniko is a 20.4 Micron American wool that is blended so well that it drafts beautifully and spins easily. Perfect for new spinners and veteran spinners alike!

Shaniko Silk - 80/20 Non-Superwash Shaniko/Mulberry Silk. 20.4 Microns. This is an unbelievably soft and luxurious blend that is an absolute dream to spin.

Shaniko Sparkle - 80/20 Non-Superwash Shaniko/Stellina. 20.4 Microns. An absolutely beautiful blend of the already amazing Shaniko, with a little extra dazzle of sparkle!


Please note: Every braid has been fully processed according to dyeing protocols, with professional acid dyes, and rinsed clear—-however, due to differences in soap, water minerals, and water temperature, there may be some residual bleeding. Reds, Neon Pinks and Purples, as well as Teals are especially prone to this issue. Please take extra care when using fiber containing these colors. Always wash in cold water and do not soak fiber.

Also, due to the nature of hand-dyeing, dyed items may not be exactly the same as pictured. Some differences will always exist between dye lots. If you require matching dye lots, please send a note.

*Please Note: Items that are non-superwash or have silk may not take the dye as vibrantly as superwash or non-silk items.

*INFO REGARDING CHOOSING A BREED OF WOOL: Every breed will take the dye a little differently, and some breeds are a whiter wool, or a more yellow/cream wool, which will affect the final look of the braid. Please review which breeds we have used for example photos in each colorway and feel free to ask if you are unsure how your chosen breed will affect the final colorway.
